Today's second release is, beyond doubt, the most oldschool one in GOG.com's history. Read below to find out why.

The Anthology includes Zork I, Zork II, Zork III, Beyond Zork, Zork Zero, and Planetfall. This means six titles in total, all hailing from the 1980s, weighing in at a whopping nine megabytes. Yep, that means just around one floppy disk per game.
That means plain text and gameplay based on text input, but beneath the rough exterior lies a beauty that's hard to find in more modern games. Countless unforgettable situations and descriptions from the Zork series have become iconic in more contemporary fiction, both printed and interactive.
With such timeless and absolutely enthralling games, set in a crazy, surreal world, packed with a witty narrative and sarcastic, dark humor, what's there not to love?
So light your bronze lantern, pick up that Elvish sword of great antiquity and embark on a journey to (re)discover the world of Zork. You will not be disappointed.
OMG YAY :D
Woah, I did NOT see this coming! </sarcasm>

I've just noticed that its less than a dollar per meg, thats better value than my phone plan

Seems like community "guessed" your "new" games without any problems. Well keep em coming ;) Hope you can give us System Shock 2 soon. This one is rather not for me but I am sure it brings nostalgic feelings for many people.
Bought. Going to finally give these games the chance they deserve.
Typo? (..) pUck up that Elvish sword (...)

Never played those...But from what I can read on gog forum - it's mistake I'm going to repair.
Now this is something completely new (old) for me. I've never played text based adventures, so I'm curious about them. And at this price, I can't resist :D
wooooooooo best games ever made!
I'm pretty much unfamiliar with this series, so thanks for bringing those games here GoG team! will be sure to check them out!
Never played but I loved playing text adventures on my Speccy. Bought! But now I have to go to work. Rats!
This brings back some old memories and I'm glad it's here.
Wow. I've played Zork I and owned Beyond Zork (The Cruel Puppet and Monkey Grinder..eeee beware!!!) but this is great!
Never played a Zork game. Wishlisted for a future purchase (too many games to finish at the moment)
Well, as expected. And I enjoyed the way it was announced.

The only thing is that I already got The Zork Anthology in CD and there is no secret to get in running in Vista or Seven. I may still buy it to show my appreciation for this release.

I also hope that this is just the first Infocom title here in GOG.
Cool that these are on GOG, though I doubt I could play them.
